JOURNEY FROM TEST TO T20.

Cricket is the only game being played in three different format. 

Test cricket is it's original format in which teams and players get enough time at their discretion to demonstrate their cricketing skill. Every team has to play two innings. Due to consisting hit by ball the pitch also changes its mood and seen as playing big role in the victory or defeat of any team. Many a times the loser captain get rid of his criticism blaming unfavourable pitch condition. The audience also donot see the statement as 'Nach Na Jane Angan Teda' style statement.

Listening commentary on transistor was iconic,  people gather around him to listen the commentary. Listening commentary was a literary experience though english was its language but it was popular among illetrate too.

In the year 1971 at Melbourn, when three days of a test match were washed out, a 48 overs one day match was played. It was first ODI.

In 1979 a television channel9 owner Gary Pecker cameout with idea of 50 over ODI. He organized tournament and it was first time that cricket was played in coloured uniform with white ball and field restriction. Cricketers received high fees for participation. Watching full cricket match in a day was a new experience and people who were considering cricket as a  dull game were amazed to see the new transformation. 

Every four year its world cup is organized. Popularity of test match drastically decreased and in the eyes of people it were played for record purposes.

T20 formats first conceived in 1990 by  Martin Crowe a Newzeelander test batsman. first match in new format was played between Australia and Newzeeland at Auckland in 2003. The new format soon gained  popularity among young due to (1) duration of three hours,(2) outfit, (3) day/ night concept and(4) last but not the least cheer leaders and festive  arrangement. 

First world cup was won by India in 2007. 

Being handy, every cricketing countries has started premier leagues. IPL is now an top entertaining live sport event.

Due to one inning system, restriction of four overs and compulsion of finishing the inning in 20 overs has changed the entire pattern of playing. Scoring run in a shortest time has been the trump card. Priority of a baller has shifted from taking wicket to minimizing run rate. Similarly safe batting or hitting classic shot is replaced with quick scoring. 

Fielding has become key to winning a match. 

T20 is ultimately a great three hour thrill. 

Three balls meant to contain run rate, behaved irresponsibly defying  baller and reached to the point where batsman was  ready to blow the ball to hit sixes. It was the thrill of T20 game. Mystery of result remain unfolded till lthe final ball is bowled.

 Trolling of Hasan ali or other players is meaningless. They played best game.
